One is the joint telephone service for the national authorities on 020-20 20 00.
If you have questions about the illness or symptoms, or you are wondering if you need to contact the medical services then it is best to call the second telephone number, 1177, which is the Medical advice line.

The information about influenza A (H1N1) has been jointly compiled by the following authorities, in conjunction with the county administrative boards and county health authorities: the Swedish Work Environment Authority, the Swedish Medical Products Agency, the Swedish Institute for Infectious Disease Control, the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare, and the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency.

The authorities´ joint telephone service

A phone line for queries about influenza A (H1N1) has been started jointly by the responsible authorities. The number is 020-20 20 00. On this line you can get your questions answered and also obtain details on where to find more information.

Answers to queries include general information about the illness, travel advice, the situation with regard to vaccinations and medicines, and what responsibilities the various authorities have. The information is updated as and when required. This 24 hour telephone service — run by You Call AB — is free of charge and should make it easier for members of the public to get answers to their questions, and to find the information they need.
